TERMS & CONDITIONS – PURPLE VILLAGE

(Applicable to all Purple Village locations)

  

Purple Village organises 2-night hotel stays in cooperation with partner hotels near concert venues during BTS concert days. 
By placing a booking, you agree to these terms and conditions. 

City-specific Booking & Cancellation Terms apply in addition to these general terms and always take priority where applicable. 

 

1. What your booking includes 

  • A Purple Village booking includes 

  • A 2-night stay at a Purple Village location, in shared accommodation with fellow ARMY 

  • Breakfast on both mornings, unless stated otherwise 

  • Access to Purple Village photospots 

  • Access to activities and ARMY gatherings, where offered at the specific location 

The exact details of your stay, including accommodation setup and included elements, are always clearly stated on the Purple Village city page and booking page for your chosen location. 

If something differs from the above, this will always be indicated in advance. 

Not included unless stated otherwise: 

  • transport or travel-related costs 

  • concert tickets 

  • meals outside breakfast 

  • additional hotel services (such as minibar, room service or upgrades) 

 2. Room occupancy & booking options  

Purple Village stays are based on shared accommodation with fellow ARMY. 

Bookings are made per bed, per person, for the duration of the stay. Guests will always share a room with other Purple Village guests. 

Room assignments are coordinated by Purple Village. 


Guests can share their room preferences during checkout, and these will be taken into account as much as possible. Final room arrangements depend on who is staying at the same time. 

By completing a booking, the guest acknowledges that the stay involves sharing a room with other ARMY. 

  

3. Booking & confirmation 

Your booking is confirmed once: 

  • the required payment has been completed, and 

  • you have received a confirmation email. 

Payment conditions may differ per city and are listed in the city-specific Booking & Cancellation Terms. 

Please make sure all personal details are correct when booking. 

  

4. Minimum number of guests 

Purple Village stays are group-based experiences and require a minimum number of confirmed bookings. 

If this minimum is not reached, Purple Village may cancel the stay. 
In this case, all payments will be fully refunded. 

  

5. No-show & late arrival 

  • No-show without contact 

If you do not arrive and do not inform us or the hotel, the booking will be cancelled automatically. No refund is possible. 

  • Late arrival with notice 

If you inform us in advance that you will arrive late, your room will remain reserved. Missed nights or hours are not refundable. 

  • Late arrival without notice 

In case of very late arrival without notice, the hotel may release the room. If the room is released, no refund is possible. 

  • Deciding not to come 

This is treated as a cancellation under the applicable cancellation policy. 

  

6. Changes to your booking 

Name changes are possible up to 30 days before arrival. 
Please contact us by email to request a name change. 

Other changes (such as room type or additional guests) depend on hotel availability and may involve additional costs. 
Any extra costs will always be communicated in advance. 

  

7. Responsibilities 

Purple Village is responsible for: 

  • organising and managing reservations 

  • coordination with the partner hotel 

  • Purple Village photospots, activities (where offered) and community elements 

   

The partner hotel is responsible for: 

  • the hotel room and facilities 

  • cleanliness and maintenance 

  • check-in, check-out and hotel rules 

  • services provided during the stay 

Purple Village is not responsible for issues caused by hotel services or other guests. 

  

8. Guest responsibility 

Guests are responsible for: 

  • respectful use of the hotel room and facilities 

  • any damage or extra costs caused by themselves or their companions 

  • complying with hotel rules 

  • completing payments on time 

   

9. Behaviour & ARMY etiquette 

Purple Village aims to provide a safe, calm and respectful environment for everyone. 

Guests are expected to: 

  • show respect towards other guests and hotel staff 

  • avoid excessive noise or disturbances 

  • not take unwanted photos or videos 

  • behave respectfully in shared spaces 

Serious or repeated disruptive behaviour may result in removal from the stay without refund. 

  

10. Force majeure 

In situations beyond our control (such as natural disasters, strikes or government restrictions), Purple Village will look for a suitable solution. 

Refunds depend on what the partner hotel is able to refund to Purple Village. 

  

11. Cancellation by Purple Village 

If Purple Village must cancel a stay due to hotel-related issues or safety concerns, all payments will be fully refunded. 

External costs such as travel or transport expenses cannot be reimbursed. 

  

12. Refunds 

Refunds are processed via the original payment method used for the booking. 
Processing time may take up to 14 business days. 

  

13. Governing law 

These terms are governed by Dutch law. 
Any disputes will be handled by a Dutch court.
