About the accommodation
We’ll be staying at Sunway Velocity Hotel, with Sunway Velocity Mall directly connected to the building. That makes it easy to find somewhere to eat, pick up snacks or get anything you need during your stay.
The hotel has a rooftop infinity pool, an outdoor jacuzzi and a fitness centre. Maluri MRT station is about 500 metres away, so you can also head into the city when you have time between concert plans.
Room & comfort
The rooms are 25 m², with two separate beds and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. Coming with a friend? You can stay in the same room. Many Purple Village guests travel solo too. We’ll match you with another ARMY, and you can let us know your roommate preferences.
There’s a desk with charging points, a TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a mini fridge, a safe, a hairdryer, toiletries, and tea and coffee facilities. The room is cleaned daily, and the hotel also has a pillow menu if you prefer a different type of pillow.
Facilities
The rooftop infinity pool is on the 16th floor, with a sun deck and views over Kuala Lumpur. There’s also an outdoor jacuzzi and a fitness centre.
Breakfast is served at the hotel, and you can grab coffee or a light bite in the lobby. For lunch or dinner, Sunway Velocity Mall is directly connected to the hotel.
Getting to TM Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil
Sunway Velocity Hotel is approximately 12 km from the stadium. You can travel by train or take a Grab or taxi.
On concert days, give yourself extra time for the journey, especially on the way back when many people leave at once.
Option 1: Metro / LRT (recommended)
Maluri station is about 500 metres from the hotel. Take the Ampang Line to Chan Sow Lin, change to the Sri Petaling Line and get off at Bukit Jalil. From the station, walk to the stadium.
Travel time: approximately 35–45 minutes from the hotel, including walking and the change of trains. This is usually the more predictable option when roads around the stadium are busy.
Option 2: Grab or taxi
A Grab or taxi can take you directly from the hotel to the stadium.
Travel time: approximately 20–30 minutes in normal traffic.
Estimated cost: around RM20–35 (4-8 euro) per car in normal conditions.
Traffic and fares may be higher on concert days. After the show, it may also take longer to find a ride, so check the pick-up point and fare in the app before booking. The distance is approximately 12 km; the fare is an estimate rather than a live quote
Public Transport Tickets
Kuala Lumpur’s MRT and LRT work much like a metro. For a single journey, you can buy a token from a ticket machine at the station. If you’ll be travelling more often, you can use a Touch ’n Go card to tap in and out. Check that there’s enough balance on it before leaving for the concert.

When will you confirm if Purple Village Kuala Lumpur is going ahead?
We’re aiming to bring 60 ARMY’s together, but Purple Village may also go ahead with a smaller group. We’ll let you know on 2 November. If we can’t go ahead, you’ll receive a full refund.
What if there aren’t enough guests?
If we can’t go ahead, you’ll get a full refund to the original payment method.
I’ve paid. Is my stay confirmed?
We’ve reserved your place, but we still need enough guests to join. We’ll let you know on 2 November if Kuala Lumpur is going ahead.
When can I join the Kuala Lumpur WhatsApp group?”
Once Purple Village Kuala Lumpur is confirmed, we’ll email you the link to our WhatsApp group.
Can I cancel my booking?
You can cancel free of charge up to October 30 and receive a full refund. After this deadline, your booking is non-refundable unless the booking can be reassigned to another guest.

What if the concert is postponed or cancelled?
A concert change doesn’t automatically cancel your Purple Village booking. If it affects our stay, we’ll contact booked guests about the available options.
